"Dynasty" star John Forsythe, who announced last month that he's undergoing treatment for colon cancer, has been released from Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles and is going to a step-down rehab facility in Northern California.
John's wife Nicole says she's very happy and looks forward to her husband's return to their ranch in approximately the next three weeks.
The Forsythe family says they're grateful and touched by the outpouring of love and concern for their husband and father from the community.
The 88-year-old actor, perhaps best known as TV's Blake Carrington on the primetime drama "Dynasty," is also the famous voice of Charles Townsend in the "Charlie's Angels" TV and movie franchise.
"Rookie Angel" Cheryl Ladd -- who replaced Farrah Fawcett in the second season of the show -- expressed her well wishes to ET, saying, "He is my dear friend. I can't wait until he comes home so we can all gather around the dinner table. We have been praying for him."
